SATURDAY AUGUST 6TH IS THE CAR CLUB PICNIC AT THE VFW ON SAND DRIVE IN WEST BEND-NO COST TO MEMBERS AND ONE GUEST-PLEASE BRING A SALAD,APPETIZER OR DESSERT, MEAT AND BUNS SUPPLIED BY THE CLUB-WE WILL HAVE A DJ FROM 12 TO 3-FREE BEER ABD DOOR PRIZES,PLEASE PLAN TO ATTEND!!

SUNDAY,AUG 21 IS THE 2ND ANNUAL CAR SHOW AT THE VFW, PUT ON BY MAIN STREET MUSCLE CARS- DOUG TROST- ALSO A CLUB SPONSER AND MEMBER!!

What a nasty year, we hardly got to do any shows, we did one fall run, which was awesome, picked up a few new sponsors for next year!!!. Sadly, we lost a member, he will be greatly missed by the club and his family, Jeff Mapes, He still has two brothers in the club, and many friends from the club also, R.I.P. Jeff.. I received a letter two weeks ago that the Model A swap meet in February has been cancelled, due to covid is the reason I got. On a lighter note, i do believe that Motormania is still a go for next, as well as , hopefully, many other shows. We have been invited, as a club, to attend a car show, free of charge, on Sunday, July 25, in with the Random Lake Picnic, so far I have received quite a few yes responses. I will post more at a later date. Thank You all for being patient with me, the club, and this awful virus. i will post more as soon as I have more news to share. Have a great Holiday!!!

Who’s ready to cruise again this coming Saturday ? We made all the calls , set up a great route and even a killer spot for lunch at Jugs Hitching Post !!! This Saturday May 2nd we will be meeting at Washington co fairgrounds at 10am . Departure at 1030am . We have escorts in towns by local police and fire departments. We will be giving parade through Jackson , Slinger assisted living at 4 homes for Serenity Villa and head north through Slinger . From there we will head north up hwy 175 into St. Lawrence, Nenno , Mayville and into Cambelsport assisted living . From there we will head to Jugs Hitching Post for a great lunch . They have a huge parking lot so we can eat lunch and abide by the rules . We will have cars enter on hwy P and we will use the back road of fairgrounds to line up cars side by side . Let’s get together and enjoy a great Saturday and some great rides . Remember we welcome cars , trucks , bikes to this cruise. Even if you dont have a cool car but want to get out of the house or take the kiddos to see some great cars and trucks come join in the fun . Check out our route and watch in these great towns for us . We will add map route to page in next day or so. We gathered over 300 cars 2 weeks ago let’s see what we can do . Please share with all cars clubs . Let’s follow rules as we do and enjoy .

Lots of exciting ideas and changes already in the works. Starting with the Washington County Swap Meet on Sunday, Feb 23rd, as usual we will have a spot to meet, greet, collect dues and take in any new ideas or criticisms. Hope to see you all there.

Next on the agenda will be the annual meeting. New Spot this year will be the VFW in West Bend, The meeting will start at Noon, the VFW will open at 11AM for us to get in, set up, collect dues, do a 50/50, and start drinking beer. We will have a private room that we can use, the 1/2 barrel will be set up in a tapper so we can serve ourselves. Food will be available for purchase and a full bar will be ready for your mixed drink orders. The address is 260 Sand Drive, West Bend ,Wi 262-334-9190. There is a large, concrete parking lot and plenty of room for us.

Rod runs are already in the works, we will have a full update at the meeting. Any New shows or runs??? Let me know , Plenty of time to plan and anyone can have time at the meeting to discuss them!!

Our picnic last year was a success. No complaints that I could control, just the weather but everyone had a great time. The Music was awesome and Eddies Lakehouse staff and customers were very good to us. Planning a similar picnic for 2020. Any suggestions or ideas Please discuss them with Me!!

Well, finally got the website up and running, Hoping everyone had a great Thanksgiving and is planning a Great Christmas season.

We certainly had a good year as a car club and I am looking at another Great year for 2020.

Just to recap the summer, we had some great runs, set up by members and they were very beautiful. I did set up a run to Columbus Wi, which was a great evening run, Al and Jackie Raasch set up a run which was very scenic and fun, we also had a poker run, set up by Joe Oleander and Doug Trost, which was also very scenic and we even picked up a new sponsor,(Fudgieknuckles in Glen Beulah), having members set up runs is very nice, leaves room for member participation, and helps the club immensely. Thank you to all involved. We also had a spring run which I set up, and despite the rain we all had a good time.

Our new HOME BASE continues to improve, Thanks to Eddie and his staff at Eddie’s Lakehouse,we had a Terrific Picnic this year, Again despite the rain, I feel that with the right music, food and member help, everyone had a great time.

August 2nd at Eddie’s Lakehouse on 144. Starts at 12:00 noon. See you there!

The picnic is scheduled for August 4th at the Newburg Fireman’s Park. Details will be  published here.
